For a weekend escape seven of us rode to a nearby lake. We feasted on fresh fish, viewed (and joined in!) a traditional dance, and had a friendly soccer match with the locals (we lost 5-3; but there was some suspicious reffing...). A great 36 hour escape from grey Hanoi to green countryside.
